The Golf Course

Cozumel Country Club is an environmentally friendly, 6,734-yard, par 72, golf course, designed by the
Nicklaus Design Group. Cozumel Country Club was carefully crafted from the surrounding mangroves and marshlands to preserve its environmental integrity. This is the first golf course in Mexico to receive certification in Environmental Planning from the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System, an international program administered by Audubon International.

There are four sets of tees available to accommodate golfers of all skill levels. Cozumel Country Club is also home to the first FasTee course in Mexico, a short course designed for use by beginners and Junior golfers.

The full practice area features a putting green as well as chipping green with a practice bunker. The wide, two tiered practice tee is available for practice or to warm up before your round. Golf instruction is available from PGA Golf Professionals.

Nike rental clubs are available. Ask about our special rates that include golf balls and use of Nike clubs.

Cozumel Country Club is across the street from El Cozumeleño Beach Resort and 10 minutes from both the International Airport and the downtown pier, on the Northern end of the Island.
